Sawgunner and Ymmot04's trip for a tranny.

Once things get settled down I'll be ready for a road trip. Now you've got me thinking where I want to go..
It was a good 21 hour trip at least. After 25 hours without sleep, I drove straight to my parents after I left Steves, didn't even pull out the hide away bed, just passed out on the couch.
That deer kinda freaked me out, it was not a small one. Ran all the way across the road, then like Steve said, must have decided the grass actually wasn't greener on the other side of the road and went back to his side. I was trying to avoid having my laptops monitor blown off it'* hinges and shoved into my face by the airbag. Luckily Steve was awake enough to perform evasive maneuvers.
Also.. the tranny was not wearing any clothes (other than a plastic bag).
what a long azz trip! was fun though. still have the trans in the trunk haven't gotten around to moving it into the shed. but it looks really good and the fluid in it was bright red very happy so far.
almost got bambi on the way back. good size doe went from the median to the right break down lane then at the last second decided the grass was greener on the other side and darted out in front of us. poor tommy went white knuckle on me

So many that Everybody here drives between the bars on 4 wheelers. Keeps the drunks off the road and the Police have a blind eye for it. Kinda a pain. One such trail comes out in front of my house. They go up my drive to the Lake Tavern. Last Sunday during Memorial Weekend, I saw the largest 4 wheeler procession go by. Had to have been 30-40 of them. They are respectful when going by houses and cottages, but that many on a dirt road makes for alot of dust at any speed.

I haven't gotten to ride an ATV in a while. Used to ride all the time out in the country, now they are handing out tickets and cracking down. They have a good reason though, some kids were screwing around tearing up ditches and roads, tearing threw corn fields. Sucks they had to ruin it for everyone else.

We get the same there here from time to time. We dont have Police except for a stray County Sheriff now and then. So we take matters into our own hands. Well placed rifle shots seem to keep them at bay. BTW, I'm known to those "circles" as "crazy ole man with rake in hand"
