Saw something cool today!
saw this after i got out of work. they only run them twice a year one trip out one trip back then back in storage they go. been waiting 3 years to see them in person. how i wish i was alive when these powered all trains across the country. the beeping in the videos are me trying to zoom which i guess doesn't work in video mode WTH!!

I love steam engines. There'* a museum near here. Went there with some friends years ago and we split from the group and went off on our own. We were climbing in the trains and having a blast.

sadly i have more a passion for trains than i do for cars and trucks. and thank god i bought an ex cop car cause trying to catch this thing from 6 miles behind and having to go through down town was a bitch!! blew past a couple state dicks in a couple impalas like mine and they did nothing hehehe.
my only regret about these pics and videos is that when i arrived at the first crossing i couldnt get my video to work so unfortunately i missed the bell and whistle which was nothing short of amazing hearing that after all these years of hearing the new diesels go by. will try to catch them when they come back through later this week

us train buffs tied them to the tracks!!!! why do you think they were going so slow over the bridges? we were making sure we got them all!!!
