Got a flyer this weekend showing that Advance (Discount) Auto Parts is now carrying the gallon containers of Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil I use.

It is on sale through December 30th for $19.88/gallon, almost $3 cheaper than my usual source...WallyWorld.

You might check the Advance in your area and see if they're offering the same deal.

No Advance out West. :(

A gallon is only 4 quarts. You'll still need another quart which is $5.xx

I almost picked some up last weekend from Advance, but got the 5 qt. jug from WalMart for $22.

But to clarify, it is indeed a gallon as listed in the flyer...vs. the 5 qt. container available from Walmart.

I'm still going to check today and see if they just mis-listed it in the flyer. I'll let you know.

No, they sell a 5 qt jug @ wally, and i've gotten a 4 qt at other places. I was at a parts store and bought the 4qt + 1 cuz i didn't wanna go to walmart on black friday..

I'm going back to wally'* next time...

There aren't any 5 qt jugs of Mobil 1 at Advance. I wish there were because I hate going into the local WalMart. lol
