Roy Orbison
Watching the local PBS station, and they're broadcasting an old Roy Orbison concert. Any of the "older" folks remember him? What a voice....I miss his music.

Older folks? You don't need to be older.
I'm 17, totally in to Orbison, and the Travelling Wilburys, although they're pretty recent.
I'd like to think I have decent taste in music

Mostly "older" folks because he died in 1988. That'* not to say that younger people, through their parents or others, do not know his music. Some may know Pretty Woman, and the songs from the Travelling Wilburys, and maybe even You Got It from the Target commercials. It'* just less likely they will know much about him.
They were broadcasting Roy Orbison and Friends, a Black and White Night where he was "backed up" by artists like Jackson Browne, Bonnie Rait, Elvis Costellos, K.D. Lang, and a list of others. A great concert originally made I believe for Showtime back in 1987.
