Red Light District
I gots to ask all of you a question.
Its time for an interior project and some opinons and suggestions are requested. I would like to do something about my interior lighting. I have named this project (with the help of Drifter..possibly while or ) Red Light District
I would like to either tint or paint my interior lights red to match the color of the car and the color of the dash back lighting. I have gone and looked at red tint film and have searched around for translucent red paint that applies to plastic..(no luck yet)
The use of tintiing is probably best, but will it adhere to plastic and withstand the changes in temperatures inside the cabin? Will it work?
Or am I totally off the wall and thinking like a rice boy?
Fill me in here BC, all opinions and comments are accepted

I know deathrat did this, Allmachtige, too. I've done some of mine, and Jseabert, too. It actually looks pretty cool. Matches the interior without being too gaudy. Keeps the lights from being overwhelming at night. I'll leave my map lights, though.

It'* a neat thing to do, I've been trying to do the same thing, I just can't find any purple gel caps or purple LEDs. My friend did this to his Sentra, which is blue and the results are pretty darn nice.

My interior gives off a scary red glow like something of a nuclear sub.
Plus the front speaker grills, vents, console, etc are all painted red.

Yeah i did that on my old car..but green. Gel caps work perfectly fine. I had every interior bulb replaced to green and it looked f*ing tight when i flashed my alarm and it glowed green inside.
