do u guy get american money in ur change? i get them all the time and the pop and candy machines wont take them. do u guys have this problem?

American quarters work up here?? Thats weird......

Is it weight based or diameter based? I have no idea how the machines work...

Once in a while I find American coins in my change, its rare tho. And I believe vending machines built in North America should accept all coins based on weight.

Ditto. American pennies are very common, though.

canadian change irks me to no end... on break and gettin rdy to get the yuummy looking sub from the vending machine...... drop in change and ALWAYS the last one.. PLA-***** out the return... look @ it *.O.A.B. its can........... walk to the operator ask her for ONE quarter to change out the canadian one get back and someone has bought my sub.....

I always foist off the Canadian change I get to unsuspecting cashiers at Wal-Mart Gotta keep the chain of maple leaf change going

Once in a while I get pennies, maybe a dime. The only time I have a lot is after a trip to the states. It always looks funny in my wallet.
