Hmmm....Only have a few:

1.) Honda CBR600 DOHC, 16 Valve, Inline 4.... It'* an indestructable aluminium wonder.
2.) Chevrolet 90degree Small Block V8.... For an obsolete pushrod engine, it has to be the most easily understood and widely used motor on the planet.
3.) Mazda/Wankel Rotory... An idea that should be used more often.
4.) Volkswagon/Porsche Air Cooled Flat 4... Another great power-to-weight marvel
5.) Pratt & Whitney Wasp Major... 28 cylinders, 4360cid, Supercharger, 4000+ bhp. It just doesn't get any bigger...if only I had a vehicle to use one on.

1) Series II 3800 (reliability and ease of mods)
2) Small Block Chevy (pre-92) (just purely because for a 50 year old design its not bad, widely used, easy to find parts, SIMPLE)
3) '89-'90 Chevy Turbo 3.1 (only because of the coolness factor and I've never really had a problem with mine)
4) Supercharged Ecotecs (lots of power for the engine size, bulletproof bottom end)
5) LS Series (ease of mods and just because who can argue that an LS7 isn't badass)
6) H.O. and W41 Quad 4'* (180 & 190 hp in '90 & '91 from an N/A 2.3 from Oldsmobile, impressive in my book and personally I never had the reliability problems that they supposedly have)
7) Rotarys (any of the ones before the current renesis (SP?), because of the idea, the only downfall is needing to be rebuilt often)
8) Ford 302 (only because of how widespread their use is and how they ALWAYS sound good)
9) Chrysler 2.2/2.5 Turbos (not the most reliable things but they're easy to make go fast and are pretty cheap to find nowadays)
10) Prolly my 5.5hp Honda small engine. These things take tons of abuse, work awesome in go-karts and pushmowers....

5)GM 2.2l (Cavalier/Sunfire) More grunt than you would expect
6)Chrysler 3.0
7)Ford 4.6l DOHC V-8 (Have a great sound to them)

Matt, do I have the Ford 7.3L and the 6.0L mixed up? :?:
You sure do, buddy. They started using the 6.0L in mid-'03, and those are BAD. They get bettter as time goes on...'05 they started being decent, but even now they're still having some problems. 7.3L'* are bulletproof.
i agreer with the 7.3 i put 128,000 on one in 9 months no prob and the cummins is a 5.9 in the dodge i have a 01.5 with the VP44 injection system and i love it and don't leave out the Wankel they are great for power to weight ratio of the block
