I have an acquaintance that lives in Jersey and often goes to Philly. Its ok, I've never been, but she says its nice. That and yer about 2hrs away from NYC.

yeah. phily isn't that bad. haven't been there for long myself, but when I was there it wasn't bad. And like bill said, you are very close to the NE contingent.
If you decided you wanted to go to Harry'* Hazelton yard on the friday/saturday after t-day I might be able (and willing) to drive down and check out what they have again. This is assuming they are open.

Well you just missed the King Tut exhibition. But fear not, the Liberty Bell and the US Mint are really neet places to go. Lots of things to do and see in Philly. Lots of world class museums.
