Apparently I live there. My parents moved there (well it'* actually Doylestown) a couple months ago, and I'm going home for Thanksgiving break. Never been to Philly area, or even PA for that matter. So tell me guys... am I going somewhere fun?

Not quite sure of that particular area, but if its close to Erie, then I would say its fun. Brian (Tallbump) showed me lots of places to bargain shop and then took me around to the peninsula. It was a great area.....nicer in the warmer weather im sure.

Well you are in for a treat. Seeing that you are from Ohio (right?), it is quite a different place. Philly has massive traffic jams, we got stuck 2 days in a row there at rush hour. Not fun. Then we decided not to get cheesesteaks, which is a good thing, as at the same time we were gonna go there, someone was shot and killed across the street from Pat'*. Other than that, I did like Philly, lots of big buildings, took some pics of Independence Hall, etc. The climate is a little different, they are considered a Subtropical climate, as apparently snow doesn't stay on the ground there.

it all depends on what you like, if you would like it or not.. plenty of clubs, movies, bowling, arcades, car shows lots of car shows, and yes there is crime in philly, doylestown but you have to rember there is crime everywhere you go.. its just hidden better in some areas to keep the property value up.

Mike lives there... 95NASTA.. where are you?
Rach... if you want to know if you'll like it or not, go to www.wegotused.com and notice that all three of their yards are within a very reasonable driving distance. Then look at the 4 hour drive from Philly to Enfield CT (home of NEBF). Where you are in Ohio right now..it'* probably more of a 14 hour trip.
Like Philly yet?
