People on the inside talking trash...

I've got no hard feelings at all about what happened here. Somebody got one side of a story that we didn't leak publicly. It'* understandable. The lesson to be learned here is that if you have questions about what'* going on behind the scenes on a particular issue, ask one of the Admins. We'll do what we can to straighten things out. Even if you are POSITIVE you heard the 'right' story.
We're not here to pull the wool over your eyes, and we'll suck it up if we're wrong. One thing to keep in mind, is that we do the best we can for everyone, and to that end, we document and save EVERYTHING that may potentially turn into a bigger issue. Just for situations like this.
You have to be able to trust the Admins and Staff in general to feel comfortable, and if you do, it makes it easier for us to do our job. Job #1 (to borrow a Ford catch-phrase) is to make this a GOOD place for you to socialize and solve your car problems. We'll always make that the primary goal in everything we do. We all take this VERY seriously, and sometimes get ridiculed for it, but that'* the bottom line. I get as much satisfaction from this job as I do for the one I get paid to do.

There is no conspiracy. There is no dictatorship. All major decisions are agreed upon by 3 Admins. Everything is documented for future reference and so the site owner can be confident in our fairness. Members are most important. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. We need more beer. Drunken Admins should NOT have the ability to modify signatures. BC is the greatest thing since sliced bread and beer farts.
