Default Outlook Express 6.0

When I receive Topic Reply Notifications from BC and then click on the link, nothing happens. Anyone familiar with this problem, or can provide direction? Thanks (IE 6.0, OE 6.0, W98 SE)

Nothing at all? Do you get an error message at all?

Does this describe your symptoms?

When you click a link to a URL that is in a Microsoft Outlook Express e-mail message, an incorrect Web page may open, or you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message:

The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. HTTP Error 404 – File or directory not found. Internet Information Services (IIS)

If this is your problem, the problem is in IE6 as well. This problem may occur if the link contains unicode characters that are encoded in the UTF-8 format. This problem occurs because Outlook Express does not correctly handle URLs that are encoded with unicode characters.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described here. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, it is recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 service pack that contains this hotfix.

That'* right, I get absolutely no error message after clicking on the url in the body of an email in Outlook Express, and I do not get directed to the topic reply. I just came on line a few minutes ago, opened up OE, received 2 topic replies. I clicked on them, and everything works now. I haven't changed any settings, or anything. The problem went away by itself.
