Opinions on Buick Park Avenues...
What do you guys think of Buick Park Avenues? Got a '93 with 100k on it for $3250 obo for sale nearby I was gonna go look at, so was just wondering...
What should I check mechanically while looking at it, or any Park Avenue in general? Anything specific to that car? What should I check due to that 100k mile odo reading?
Thanks in advance
BTW, that Aurora didn't work out, obviously. He didn't take as good mechanical care for it as I thought he would have. Didn't keep up on maintenence either. Wasn't worth risking trouble and draining myself dry buying it, as well. He didn't, as a family friend, want to sell it to me in that condition, anyway. And he most likely won't fix the problems, so the deal is decidedly off, unless he decides to fix the problem, which he probably won't. Oh well, too good to be true, I guess

PA'* are comfortable cruisers. The 93 will have the L27 unless it'* an Ultra????? I think you'll be pleased. Nothing typical to look for out of the ordinary. Check for codes (use the flash feature in Techinfo) and use even the most insignificant code as a bargaining chip.
Look for evidence of a light coating of dust on the motor. A motor that looks like you could eat off it could be evidence that the seller is trying to hide something.

I like them all. I like the short body as posted above with the fully loaded leather package and the electronic display that has ther Good Morning, afternoon and evening display when you turn the car on. THe 92-95 Ultra cars because nobody would ever think tat those are supercharged and the 96 to present styles cause they are reallyu roomy..

Suprisingly, I think the new body style sucks. Sorry, guess I'm just too picky sometimes
