I'm specifically referring to those folks who "ride" the brake with their left foot so that they'll have "better reaction time" if and when the time comes. I had an uncle who did that. He constantly had his car in the shop for brake work...wonder why.

i drive both a manual and a automatic at least twice a day and i sometimes find myself trying to depress a petal that isnt there
i find that driving with one foot for an automatic is perfect and that is the way they teach you up here in leland illinios but i have found my self accidently (while still using one foot) hit the break and the gas at the same time when maneavering around the driveway
so my vote one foot
