Ok I’ll elaborate on this. Basically they’ll get your car in there and tell everything else is wrong with your car other than what the problem really is trying to juice as much money out of you that they can. Their very dishonest and don’t do good work at all. Now most of us here no the signs of a UIM/ LIM problem…( the classic white smoke coming all out the exhaust and lose of power losing large amounts of antifreeze in short periods of time ect... I knew what was already wrong when I took the car to the shop just by joining this group and reading post …they told me that my spark plug wires where crossed and going to the wrong spark plugs from the cold packs which “they did” and that I needed new cold packs and an ignition module which they told me was going to cost $875.00 for the whole job and that when they got the car running they ran it for three hours and didn’t see no white smoke at all ( I cant even drive down to the corner store without seeing this smoke) I reported them to the BBB. I got my car from that shop ASAP and when I got it back home after taking pictures of what they did I put my sparkplug wires where they belong and checked my fluid levels and my needed sparkplug wires, cold packs, and ignition module car started right up no problem with white smoke still coming out the exhaust…so I’m changing the UIM and LIM gaskets myself.

Might want to tip the police on that place, if it'* that bad...
And best of luck with the UIM/LIM gaskets. Not the most difficult task, I understand, but very time-consuming...
