^yeah, what he said
But, OMG guys, I sat in that car, and it was like I was supposed to be there. Like putting a key in a door. I fit perfectly in it. I kinda like that B9, too. My uncle is thinking about trading his WRX for an STi. The guy is supposed to get back to him about some guarunteed trade thing. He came so close, he asked would I like to drive it home. "Um, hell yes." He kinda likes the Forester to, and said something about maybe getting it. Dunno.

i drove the forrester for about a year before i got my first car, ill go into a little more detail
pros:
ultra smooth responsive steering
responsive throttle
love the awd
the thing is a tiny tank, its been in 3 accidents and never needed any body work
its reliable, we've had it for going on 8 or 9 years and its never needed anything besides normal maintenance
cons:
like i said, awful brakes, it'* brakes were the cause of my first accident, most other cars couldve easily stopped in time
its cramped and im only 5 10, my parents are shorter tho and they are fine with it
no power, the awd darts it off the line but its slow over about 35
the flat 4 is a bit shaky, i can feel it alot at idle, but i assume a flat 6 would be smoother
its had a good amount of electrical problems, every onc ein awhile it gets an ses light for no reason, the clock only works intermittently, and theres something wrong with the door ajar switch, it will take it about 3 minutes to realize a door is closed
the verdict? while i would never buy a forrester i do love the following subarus: outback, legacy, svx, loyale, and i like the wrx/sti but i think the other ones i mentioned have more character

Oops. When I said "what he said", I meant gimme a SSEi. But thanks for the info, NERV. The one I looked at had the same 4 in it as the WRX has, and I love it. If my uncle trades his for another WRX, he says it will be an STi, but if he doesn't get it, they have a sedan up there I'm gonna try and get him to look at (his is a wagon). Tommorow I get to play with the Forester . I may take it down to the lake and play with the AWD.
