Ok guys, I need some help!!
Most of you know that we just bought a house. YAY!
Anyway, I have a problem. My freakin couches are blue (not my choice, good old hand me downs) and I have no clue what color to paint my walls. The carpet is like a very light beige. And BTW, I'm no fan of blue...
Can someone give me some idea'* here.....

You may aslo look at painting 3 of the walls an off white and one wall an accent blue to coordinate with your furniture.
You have a lot of possibilities.

Uhm...are you sure you want interior decorating advice from this lot, Pearl?
It'* a PITA, but if you want a rich look, paint your ceiling flat bright white, the trim (baseboards, etc.) in gloss white, and your walls in a satin...oh...probably some sort of earth-tone based on your carpet. That'* what my wife made me do last time and, while it kicked my butt because you have to do a lot of masking, it has a very striking affect. ( Can I say something looks "striking" and still be a manly man? ) You might be able to put slip covers over your blue couches in order to better match your paint.
I'm with you - not a big fan of blue walls. Kinda reminds me of old guys. Like Archon. I'll bet his walls are powder blue. :P
