Thanx for all the replies. Currently I am kennel training, but she seems to go at least once or more during the day while I am gone. I do stop at home during lunch (I work 10 minutes away) and give her a "potty" break then too. I usually expect to see some urine in the kennel in the morning when we wake up and also at lunch time and when we get (after long stretches of being in the kennel). She has only once ever pooped in the kennel thought. When I do get home I open the kennel and she will usually (but not always) run to the back door so I can let her out.

We are looking into a local school for puppy training her. I don't want a spoiled dog that pisses everywhere so I want to make sure both her and I are trained.

That sounds like a good plan. My dog no longer has his tantrums. We corrected that after the 2nd time he did it. I was aggravated to have to have the carpet shampooed twice within a month and a half time period.

I have a husky mix and they are easy to train..although mine seems to have selective hearing ...I crate trained her and she was potty trained in about 2 weeks. The best thing u can do besides that is make sure she/he doesn't jump on u......one mistake I made. The hair thing is the worst.....I think u could go through my house and sweep up like a dog'* worth of hair about every other day.....but wouldn't sell her for a milloin bucks....
