So the GTO is going to be improved right? Will it look like its name too? Cus you know, the recent stylings coming out from GM leaves somethign to be desired by a margin wider than the Atlantic ocean. Impala, Lucerne anyone? Same uninspiring, cookie cutter design prevalent during the 90'*, and im SICK of it.

That'* why there are more than 1 car company. Ford and Chrysler are making the cool looking cars now. GM F'ed up on the new Camaro, too.

They shoulda learned from Dodge (Challenger).

I may be the odd man out here, but I don't understand why it seems like nobody liked the car simply because it didn't look like a 69 Judge, and looks too much like a GP. SO WHAT?! If I recall correctly, the first year or so of the original GTO'* weren't exactly wild and whooly looking either. That logic is like saying that you don't like the M3 because it looks too much like a 5 series. Where else are you going to find a track proven car with 400hp for under $35,000? Exactly....
I guess I'm just looking at it from a numbers point of view instead of a vanity point of view.

/end rant

Puddy your right the GTO was based off a Tempest! A grandma car that in 61 one you could get a Trophy 4 and a 2 speed automatic, it came from humble orgins! I liked the GTO a sleeper and power maker basically a baragin M3!

I wasn't expecting it to look like the 68-72 version as much as
looking more of an american sport car in general.

it is just to small.

You hit the nail right on the head.

I can't handle the notorious plastic look of newer GM cars. To make things worse, the 09 Camaro has AWEFUL styling cues coupled with monster truck rims.
