ratchet wrench would be the way to go, the last one I did, I didn't have any. this summer though I will probably pulling several of them to rebuild them, so I bought some ratchet wrenches

I do have some ratcheting wrenches
1 set in metric and 1 set in standard - Craftsman of course
I will look into the cost differences between rebuilding (which is why I bought the thing in the first place, but either way it'* the first motor I have ever gotten to pull) getting a j/y special or a long block.
