The new Seagate'* w/perpendicular recarding are nice and quick! I've been running a 320gb raid (640 total) for about a year and just upgraded my other computer to match. I got the drives on sale for $59 each at Best Buy just before Christmas so why not! I don't run Vista so I can't show what they'd score in raid setup.

I never bought from them. I only buy from Newegg. I just thought I would post this for Radomir. I usually buy OEM WD drives from the Egg and have not had one fail yet.

Very cool. Thanks for the link. I would consider buying that, but I've got 4 300GB Seagate hard drives already in my main PC. I'm soon going to set up a giant home server to store tons of goods, but still I don't think I can consider those Maxtors. That'* from before the Seagate merger, and they're the weird ones from China. Great price, though! Nice foreshadowing.

The 203 has a very good rep, I've got one myself. I don't know much on the other one you have. I buy mine OEM also since I don't need the crappy software they come with in the retail box.
