I just got a new phone this week...

When I went to the Verizon store, they recommended that I get anything but an LG phone. They said that the LGs are the least reliable.

I ended up with a Motorola. Not sure of the model. I can talk on it and it doesn't drop calls....all that matters to me. LOL.

I've got the 8100 and I love it!! It'* the third LG I've had with no problems at all. 1.3 Megapixel camera, MP3 player, MP3 ringtones, etc...

But, if you go to http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=295 there'* a pretty big debate regarding the 8100 vs the 815.

To me it sounds a lot like the AMD vs Intel argument, but you can read up on it there if you want

MOS let me ask you can you record a ringer and then use it as a ring tone?

If you can record it in MP3 format, you can use it as a ringer.

Samples of mine at http://www.mos95b.com/bitpim/ringer/

I haven't upoaded my latest yet

I have the Motorola V276. Seems to be working well for me. Before that I had the Motorola V60S.

The old one was a damn good phone. I hope this new guy does the trick for me. IMO, it has way too many gadgets and functions. I just like phones that are very easy to use and that have a built in phone book.

I have the Motorola V505, very similar to the current V550. Love it. The damn thing is nearly a full function PDA. I have the USB data cable for it. Best phone I've owned.
