Congradulations on your new child. They grow up so fast. My 12yr old daugter is itching to drive my GP' or Bonnie. I remember driving like a mad man in a dodge colt to get her mom to the hospital. Along with the other three,(all boys) I know you will have good times and not so good times. My advice is to tell that child you love her every chance you get. Be firm but; be fair as you can be in all things. And remember that children learn from you how to treat and even love others. How you and your girl get along will be very important too. You've got a big job and it don't stop when they become grown. My Dad was teaching me how to be a man and how to even grow old taught me up till the very point that he died. You have a great job and adventure in front of you.
