5000 for a 94? Try 1/3 of that. You can get a 94 SSEi for less than 5k.
I paid $3200 for my 94 SSEi. As far as the GA can these lower ends be rebuilt? I hear allot of people junking them, but is it repairable if your ripping the engine out anyways? I usually thought most owners with lower intake failures junk them to avoid paying the big money to have them fixed, but if the rod bearings get rotted out, I guess other things must be bad too and unrepairable?

I think $500 is fine even w/ a $400 motor, if you can install it your self. IMO. I have a friend who runs a junkyard just south of you if need it.

well i mean if you can get a motor for cheap, and get it running, (and assuming you're in a financial position to be able to do this).. then i'd say go for it, get it, fix it, sell it. Collect assets from it. I sure as hell would!

PS. Color ? Pics ?

I agree that if you can get the car and a new engine for the 900 bucks or less then go for it.

if you can do all the work yourself, you shoudl be able to at least make 500 bucks or so off it ya know?

This is of course assuming you have the time, money, and know-how to do all this stuff.
