first, free is always good. it'* worth atleadt $200 to a scrap metal place, and I know one place here paid $300 for an Aurora.
Second, if you can get it tp pass inspection cheaply, drive it til it dies and then scrap it.

You can access the vehicle diagnostics yourself, and it'll tell you whats wrong, or at least give you a strong hint. It'* called the keydance, and it works on most Mopar cars up until 96 or so.

They are a pretty good car, the tranny is usually the biggest problem, and since that'* been replaced, you shouldn't have anything else to worry about. The TSi is roughly equivalent to the 92-95 SSEi in terms of performance and handling.
