need help turning off norton phishing protection
i am having a issue getting online to my bank'* website to see my balance and stuff..
i keep getting a certificate error page.. it keeps saying the site'* certifacate is expired or invalid..
it does this on alot more websites then just my bank.. it started about 3 days ago for some reason and i cant find the option on my norton 360 2008 to turn off the phishing protection..
can anyone help.. this has reached the point beyond annoying...below is the message i keep getting when i try to sign in to my email or my bank or somewhere else..
no problems with bc.com tho :?

a google search would have fixed that
are you using wifi? if you are, is it secure? if yes, change your encryption key. norton could be actually helping you. i wont get into technicalities, but invalid certificates can be a sign of someone listening in on your network traffic.

Of course, there'* also the fact tha Norton is the single worst piece of software I've ever been the victim of...try AVG...that is, if you can figure out how to get rid of Norton. It took Dad almost a month before he gave up, backed everything up, and Format C'ed it...

it is horrible as far as memory usage, interface, and all that. but i've found the virus scanner itself to work as well as anything else..
But i second AVG Free and ZoneAlarm.
