Default Need a freeware video converter.....

To rip DVD'* to any other format (AVI, MOV, WMV, etc) for Katie'* new MP3/Vid player. Anyone use anything decent?

The easier iriverter link there may be just what I'm after. Remember, this is for Katie, so I don't want a long complicated process. All I have to do is simply change format, and the conversion software that came with her MP3 will do the rest (it just doesn't support DVD).

ahh ok. my mp3 player came with mp3 conversion software but not video so i am forced through that process, although its not as bad as it looks.
