Need Ebay help!!
Ok, this is the short story: I buy item, I receive item 3 weeks later. I leave party neutral feedback, he leaves me negative stating that I am a deadbeat bidder and a jacka$$ to boot. This action ruins my perfect rating. He has also done this to another ebay member the same time he did mine.
I go through Squaretrade, but they can't seem to help me through mediation because he responded and says he wants no discussion of feedback withdrawal AND wants to take part in NO mediation. What kind of effed up system is that?
Somebody PLEASE tell me there is a way to fry this guy and get my feedback back to proper. I am so

Ebay feedback is kinda silly sometimes, and most will overlook a neg or 2 among many positives. There isnt much you can do about it really, my father used to sell a lot on ebay and he was always concerned about getting a neg, to the point that he would always leave glowing postives even if the person didnt deserve it.
My feedback count is low cause I don't do much there, but if I got a neg, I would probably leave a factual rebuttal, leaving insults or emotion out of it. It does impress me to read a factual, unemotional account of a neg. It shows the person doesnt have to stoop to name calling.
But really, 3 weeks from end of auction to goods in your hand? actually not too bad these days unless you paid instantly and for faster than cheap shipping.

add more negative feedback explain that he gave you negative for his slow shipping...
Post a resonse to his neg feedback. I know I go thru a sellers feedback and read responses to get a feel for the person.
And a suggestion if you have another CC#, make another EBAY account to seperate your good seller account from your buyer. No sense having this happen again. My brother has several accounts and I imagine many others do too.
But to have still had a perfect rating...WOW
Thats amazing seeing as how many jerks are on there now.

I'm really not worried about the feedback. It'* this guys attitude that got me all ticked off. Yes, it took 3 weeks to ship...but we live in the same county :? Wouldn't allow local pickup either. And yes, I did leave feedback to his feedback...a rather nasty retaliation, something I NEVER do, but this guy....he is so full of himself, I couldn't resist.
chrysler_nut is my id if anyone wants to look it all up. Funny thing is...the item I got, I think it works, but since I got the CD changer itself out of a scrapyard, there is no way of knowing what is actually bad...the modulator I bought off of him, or the changer itself.

So what is he saying you assumed. And, if shipping i * 2-3 days, why did it take 3 weeks.
Also, I didn't think you were allowed to leave comments like that. Of course you can leave neg, but to call someone a dumb a$$

Not much advice I can give to this thread but wanted to tell you about a situation about a seller misrepresting the product. In other words when he said it worked well, and when I got the seat belts, it didn't retract becuase the spring was broken. His answer was, " if you leave me negative feedback, I'll leave the same." Well I tried to resolve it with another 3 messages but in the end we both didn't leave any feedback. He'* still doing it to others.

That is how I lost my perfect rating and it still irritates me! You can go back into your feedback and respond with a brief explanation.
