NA Bonne VS G6 GT
So my friend just got a brand new G6 GT coupe and it has the new 3.5 liter engine. It'* pretty sporty looking and has a nice interior, but to each his own, I still like my Bonne better but then again thats why I bought one!
Anyways... theoretically who would win a in a race between a G6 GT coupe and a 2000+ N/A Bonneville? The G6 has more horsepower but the Bonne'* got more torque I believe.
Just curious so I thought I'd post this and see if anybody has some input. I'd hope the Bonneville!

Im guessing the G6 should slap the bonny around, its a lighter car, I think it would be close if on a strip give the bonny a car lead or so, then it would be close, thats my thought once the bonny gets up the speed im sure in the long run it would out run the G6, I own a G6 as well as a ssei, ill have to get a race going in a few minutes to find out but the ssei will win hands down,

Yep..the 2000+ are heavy compared to the G6. The G6 should win easily.
I'm not sure what the G6 would run in the 1/4 but I'd guess middle 15s?

I have a Malibu Maxx...same thing, just different skin. After an exhaust change (I should take pics of the old exhaust just to show you all how fooked the engineering is on this) from the manifolds on back, the 3500 really woke up in the midrange (I did loose some low-end torque) and I personally think it could hold its own against an SSEi.

Wow, if SSEI'* are having problems keeping up with a 3.5 G6 GT than the N/A Bonne wouldn't win almost for sure!
Whats the 0-60 and 1/4 mile on a stock 2000+ Bonneville SE?
