My pets....(no 56k)
Well, I was bored today, and decided to make it "pet maintenence day." So I cleaned the terrariums/aquarium of my various pets, and snapped a couple pics (plus I got to try out macro mode on my camera).
My first 2 pets are Kang and Kodos, a pair of 2 year old White'* Tree Frogs. Kodos is female (and thus bigger) and Kang is male. Although they may look it, they are not obese, they are a perfect size for their age/sex. They live to be about 15 years old, eat bugs and the like, and are native to Australia and Indonesia. They can climb walls and such, their little feet feel like those sticky hands you get out of the 25cent machines...

Next is my little Tiger Salamander, named "Homer the Safety Salamander." He was named Homer 'cause he eats everything that moves and will fit in his mouth, and after that Simpsons with the Safety Salamander, well his name had to be updated! That'* the good thing about reptiles/amphibians, they don't care when you change their names.

Lastly are my fish...I have 8 or 9 pink Convict Cichlids and 1 bristle-nose Plecostomas. I didn't really wan't the fish (they aren't overly pretty, and they are mean hence the "convict" part), but the guy I got the tank from said take em or they would end up on the lawn, and I couldn't let that happen, so I ended up with 25 of them. After a couple months I managed to sell/give most of them away, so I at least have a managable population. The blue tinge to everything is this really sweet Actinic Blue light I have, the pics don't do it justice, but it makes the tank look really pretty, and I have a bubbler across the back wall which looks sweet. Someday I'll get rid of all these fish and get pretty ones :P.
