Congrats! The house looks nice and modern... cathedral style ceilings are cool. It'* nice living in a newer house, isn't it?

Its basically a 3 bedroom house they took and made 2 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms.

Granted it would have been cheaper to get a 3-4 bedroom house w/3 other roomates for 1200 or something but this place was a steal compared to what I had before. My rent only went up 12.50/mo a person at this new one. Oddly enough the houses in this neighborhood are twice what they were in my last one...I have not seen one under $200k

It still MUCH cheaper to split a smaller house (1800sq foot) with a roomate than it would have been to rent out a studio appartment w/no garage and probably 400sq feet.

Nice place. Glad your happy with it. Most (me) rent based on Affordability and you really dont think sometimes about the other important stuff.

a house like that sells for 500-600,000 in Red Deer
and Rents for over 2000/month
no kidding

Thats a nice place you got there. I hope that someday I can get a house something like that. I might have to step down from my appt. to the Bonne soon until the wife and I snag jobs, But I like your place.
