recovery console isn't going to do you any good at this point unless you are manually copying over the raid drivers. You need to do an install and pic your current installation to install to. Or pick a different installation directory. that is a trick that I sometimes use to do a reinstall that won't damage any data, can't get info off of computer, and can't get OS to boot. To do that, if you current windows install is to "c:\windows" just select different directory and use "c:\winxp". Once you have the new install in, when you boot you will see a boot menu that askes which on do ou want to boot to. Select the new install and boot. Once you are in and confirm it is working you can compare the raid drivers from both installs (windows and winxp). copy over the drivers to the old install and boot into the old one and try. Once it works (the old one) we can remove the boot choice and put it back to boot original and delete new install.

No offense, I think I read that you only have one hard drive, but go into the raid bios and turn raid off. You can't run raid with only one hard drive. Put your sata controller(*) back into non-raid mode.
