my camaro project (old 305 is gone)
I started sanding down and priming the fenders (btw-I found out you dont have to go down to the bare metal....oooops.)

Why is all this stuff missing?

Maybe for this?

LT1 5.7L V8...Came with timing chain cover, harmonic balancer, pulleys, stainless steel bolt kit, and a few more parts. No intake manifold or TB though. Not bad for $300. Rebuild is coming soon. That goes for the motor and the 700r4 tranny.
Other misc. stuff

Interior is getting changed to black, and is going to have front racing seats with a harness. A stock LT1 in these cars can run 13.7 @100 in the 1/4, but were not leaving that motor stock. Oh this is going to be fun.

andrew are you going to use the TBI set up on there or are you going to use the TPI set up?
and what kind of rebuild are you going to do? LT1'* have pretty decent parts in them just as they are... What changes will you make if any?

it will be SFI or TPI...what ever 94 impala'* came with. As for mods it will most likely include a cam, valves, valvesprings, roller rockers, pcm, air intake, headers, cat back/high flow exhuast, and maybe a few more things. No forced induction or nos. I dont have the $$$ for a supercharger/turbo and i dont want to kill a freshly rebuilt engine with nos.

This is my results from today'* work.
1. sanded hood, primed hood, lightly sanded hood, 2nd coat (still needs a little bit more sanding)
2. same process to the passenger side fender
3. same process to the spoiler and drivers side rear moldings.
3. sanded drivers side fender
4. Found out walmart wont let me buy Krylon primer, but Autozone will. ( I hate walmart...wont let me buy paintballs, bb'*, fuel injector cleaner, spray paint, or anything like that because I'm under 18. I can drive there, but I cant buy the stuff I need.)

Since the spoiler and molding were removed, I had to use tape to cover the holes until I prime the trunk and sides.

This is how I light up the driveway/yard to work into the late hours of the night.

I call it a TPI because it was similar to the TPI set up...
But this would be the SFI with Optispark ...
Andrew that will be a fun car once you get it going
