I love them, Every since i got mine in 2002 i have loved them. That is why i bought the second one. That way i can have some fun NA and have a nice daily driver and go balls to the wall with the black one and experience boost.
I have to say it was very hard to talk the brother into buying one but in the end he saw that it has potential and he got a very good deal that he couldnt pass up. Like he said this car will be a great car for him and will last him a while (even if he has to put a motor in it due to miles).
Getting on to how much he paid for it. He paid....... $1300 for it. That is knowing that it is a high milage motor and tranny and what not. The first thing we are doing to it is, new LIM gaskets, and new UIM, along with a 180 stat and getting rid of the Dex killer. We figure when it is all said and done he will have about $1500-$1600 in it and it should be a solid car for the money.

Don, i dont think you have to worry about that. You meant my brother and he really inst into modding. I mean more then likely he will just do the basic cheap things, like PEMs, CAI, and maybe a ported LIM (assuming your track results are good). He is always afraid to blow things up and after helping me with my motor/ tranny he is nervous lol.

I dunno, i am having a hard time talking him into modding it lol. But once he hits the track stock, then with a few cheap mods and sees the improvement i think that may change lol. We were talking today and i was talking to him about L67 swapping it and he was like "Why cant i top swap it and just do a HD conversion on the tranny, I will be supercharged and have the benefit of higher compression" i was like :? and just about cried lol, i taught him well.
