My Blood Donating Exp.
Got there around 5:30 in the mobile blood bus. Waited a few minutes... Then they gave me some forms to fill out. went into this VERY small room where I barely fit in, Pricked my middle finger (ow!). Turns out my cell count was very good. Blood pressure was a tad high on the first one but good on the 2nd. Got out and filled more paperwork. A few minutes later I sat on the couch/seat. got poked by the needle which didn't hurt really. 10 minutes later they have all the blood. No sweat. Got a cool goodie bag with...
Rice Krispy treat, granola bar, bottle of apple juice, packet of oreos, a pen, pamphlets and info, coupons for money off a ham and food at some places, a package of band-aids, and the ball I had to squeeze!
So go do a good thing if u can. Took me 35 minutes and I could be helping save 3 lives. Feels good.

I would pass out in the parking lot infront of the blood donor clinic, without a doubt lol.
I don't do blood well.

Heh, first time I donated, I got through it great, got up, no negative effects.
Made it over to the table with the goodies and started feeling a little light headed. Next thing I knew, this poor little granny(probably 70, no more than 100lbs) was doing her best to make sure I landed softly.
I still donate, never had a repeat of that day.
