I did the same thing in my moms 99 GTP, I was doing donuts in a front wheel drive car with the abs on, went into a turn and slide into the curb snapping a chrome five star rim in half, ill post a pick youll all get a good laugh out of that, cost me 1500 to fix and i was only 16 at the time working at mcdonalds just think of how many big macs i had to make to fix the damn thing! Oh well you learn from stupid **** like that

There is something to be said for plain Jane steel wheels. I did something similar a long time ago with my Pontiac Tempest. Pulled a U turn and hit the center meridian I didn't know was there. Flew through the air over it. No apparent damage......except a week later when the idler arm broke off taking a piece of the frame with it. One wheel turned the other just wouldn't move. Wheels were fine though with not even a dent and I didn't lose the chrome hub cap either.
The year was 1975 when drinking and driving was still cool.
