A little off topic, but here goes anyways...
The best custom licens plate that I ever saw was on a classic 60 somethin GTO Judge. It was a black hardtop and was CLEAN. I was quite jealous of it. The plate said "ALLRISE".

That is still one of my two favorite domestic cars of all time--a 1969 Judge convertable (Liberty Blue) and a 1969 GP with the 482 and a 4 speed!

My biggest disapointments in the new GTO are the fact that for the first time, the GTO will not offer scoops (real or simulated) and they are using a 5.7 litre instead of a 6.5/6.6 litre (350ci vs 400 ci).

Do they even make a 400 anymore? In any case, the 5.7 is ok with me. If they were going to be true to the 6.6 litre, in my opinion, it would have to be a true Pontiac V8. Of course, we know that will never happen.

No. The Pontiac 400 was discontinued in 1979 due to emissions problems--too many oxides of nitrogen from its relatively long stroke and high compression. If you ask me, it was probably just a way to start the corporate engine program.
My comment was more wishful thinking. There is nothing wrong with the SBS. It'* just dissapointing that it can't have the real GTO badge (6.5 Litre).

I just downloaded all the wallpaper from Pontiac'* site of the GTO. I am gonna see if I can "edit" the pics to reflect a "better" GTO. I am gonna see if I can add hood scoops, billit grills (closer to the old style), do something with those god awful tail lights, and dual exhaust tips. Hopefully I will have some nice pics in the next day or two.

I was surfing around looking for pics of old Judges and other GTO'* and came across this site. It has a lot of sketches and concept variations of the new GTO.
