Very nice use of DoF. You really know how to bring out the colors in the pictures, and set the mood well with them. I'm impressed, I wish I had that kind of talent with cameras. I have an older Minolta I like to play around with, as well as a Canon A-1 and Digital Rebel. My main tool is my Nikon N75. I just like the way it shoots, for some reason. I also love messing around with my Holga.
Too bad I can't even afford film/developing now. So I'm stuck with the digital.

Doing work for the school paper has been a great experience for me, i've learned so much on shooting, how to manage equipment, etc. Meeting everyone under the sun and being involved in every type of activity on campus is great too.
One film camera I'd love to try out, is the Canon Elan 7e, with the eye controlled focus. And they're not too expensive on ebay..
Those images look pretty good for a regular scanner too. Nice work again!

Eye controlled focus?!
Closest to that which I've heard of is Minolta (and on Sony A100) and their eye-start AF system. There'* a little sensor next to the viewfinder that automatically starts the AF when it senses your face. Really its just a proximity sensor, your hand, etc whatever will trigger it. The 700si that I'm considering has that feature.
eBay - Minolta 700si
edit: just saw it on Canon'* website, that is COOOOOOOL.
