On my truck, I'm wanting to lift the front end by a half inch and all lifting kits I'm seeing are 1 inch (I'm keeping it simple by using a spacer under the strut mount on the lower control arm)
If anybody knows of a machine ship that can either make some spacers, or mill down some 1 inch spacers I'll send to them, please let me know there contact info. Thanks!
Here'* a pic of the 1 inch spacers that I'd like to have in 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch...
Just about any machine shop could do this, but since we have no idea where you would like for a machine shop to be, it'* not very useful for us to make a recommendation.
That'* why I put this in my post "If anybody knows of a machine ship that can either make some spacers, or mill down some 1 inch spacers I'll send to them"
Since these are small pieces this can be done thru UPS shipping so I was not asking for a machine shop close to me but more about someone knowing of a good machine shop anywhere in the country.
Well, I wouldn't want to put anybody out or anything... if it'* too much work to recommend a shop you know of that does good work then I wouldn't want to bother you with it.
Maybe somebody else on the board can recommend someone if you're too busy or it'* so much work you wouldn't be able to handle it.
That piece can be made by a guy with the metal and a torch and grinder. That is a very simple basic piece that requires no real talent to make so I suggest you find the closest welding shop or fab shop and you'll be good.
I'd like for this to not be a shade tree mechanic kinda deal... a guy on a different board told me about https://SendCutSend.com after I posted the message here
These guys can do laser cutting so the part doesn't look like a bunch of rednecks did it with a cutting torch and a grinder.

You'll learn something if you watch it being made. They will use torches and grinders. Whether by plasma or gas cutting it will be cut out. It will then be ground. It'll look rough like you did it in your backyard. You can use finer and finer grit until you polish it to look like a mirror it'* up to you how far they take it and how much money you want to spend but before it gets finished it'll look like CRAP.
