Default Macgyver Award

So I think I win the macgyver award for today. changed the rightside axle on my friends Beretta today. Was shot went to pull it out and it split at the inner CV. so now I got a shell sticking out of the trans. I couldn't get enough force into popping out the clip. And I was in a parking lot. So I grab my jumper cables and wrapped them behind the CV housing. POP ok comes half shaft

Desperate times, require desperate measures! Nice thinking on the 'adapt a tool'.

Did you disconnect his battery first? If not, I decline the award on account you coulda fried his system.

I dunno. Electrical systems are odd sometimes though. I know once when I had my 07 Avalanche I was having a Flowmaster welded on, and we didn't disconnect the battery. 3 days later my SES light was on. Apparently when we welded the muffler on, it overloaded some solenoid in the emissions system. It was weird.

Like rip off the brake line at the same time. Thought about that as I was wrapping it up.
