See, that'* the way I feel... But it books for $12k and every other SSEi with about the same mileage and about the same year is over $10k. There'* a twin to this car closer to Boston but they want $11k for it. As for chewing them down, I got an e-mail from the salesman. Right now the car is on hold. Another interested buyer put money on it to hold the car, but they're really interested in a BMW if they can get the loan. Trying to chew them down after this is gonna be tough. I told the salesman to let me know if they buy the BMW.

Between the 3, I like the SSEi the best, but the GTP'* make for better financial sense.

I might do that this weekend. I ran a Carfax on it and it was in an accident in 03 when it had 35K on it. It was hit on the left front. To me this doesn't rule it out but it does make me more cautious. As for the black one, I wish it had the mileage the brown one has. Both the SSEi and the black GTP have checked out through Carfax.

Thanks for the info on Lending Tree Jack. I might still apply and see where it goes. Credit unions are a good idea. My wife has access to Markem'* credit union.

What do you guys think about traveling? My dad thinks I should head south, as far as NYC, NJ, area. There'* definitely less salt used in the city and metro areas usually mean more cars to choose from. It'* just a haul to look at a car that might not pan out.

00 GP, cheaper, and more reliable than the SSEi

however, i cant stand the cheaply build interiors on the 00 gen GP, i would personally buy the Ei, even if it is a lesser investment

Thanks Cody.... I wonder what the mileage is... Ohio is too far for me though... Hmm, silver, you wouldn't have to buy new touch up paint.....

I'm guessing because the 00+ are notorious for their small problems but the GPs aren't affected by that. Am I right Toasty?

I was searching the New Hampshire craiglist and I came across this.

Good if you want a cheap but fun car...
