man, these people are so stupid
they let me select a tempo as a model of car, yet i cant select anything before 1995. they quit making tempos in 94. so if you have a tempo, you cant sign up with them . also, they wouldnt let me do it because i have more than 150,000 miles on my car. go figure

i filled it out and it it said it was processing and then just never progressed, looks to me like a site designed to get ur contact info, which i gave false info for so its ok

Both of you just opened up your computers for Spam. Never follow a link in an email unless it was information you ASKED for.
People act like respected companies all the time (including Microsoft) in order to get you to simply click a link. That click dumps spyware on your computer.
Many of these scams are VERY well prepared and professional.

i didnt click any links i just typed in carwarrantyprovider.com and i tihnk with up to date spysweeper and norton, a hardware firewall, and the fact that i gave false contact info (my email address is support@aol.com :P ) i tihnk my computer is pretty safe

Adaware se is a good program to remove ad and spy ware. It'* free! Of course if you are using Firefox instead of IE you will have virtually no ad/spyware getting on your computer. At least at this time...
