LOL Road Rage is crazy...tailgated by a bus doing 85 mph
Yesterday was driving on I-75 and I look in my mirror and this bus is hauling azz in the left lane in my mirror, so I speed up just to see how fast he is going. This bus was a huge travel bus too loaded with people. I speed up to 85 and this guy is still riding my ***. So I have a little fun slowing him down then let him by and get his plate number. He pulls off at the next rest stop and my dad is on the phone with the state police, so I pull over and stop since I missed the exit for the rest stop. Two guys get out of the bus and go and open the compartments for the engine and stare at them for a minute. Well this is happening you could see the people standing up on the bus and starring at the Bonneville probably wondering wtf is going on since this guy almost ran us off the road. So my dad then gets out and goes to talk to the guy to see what he is up to. Here is what he says about the State police when my dad brings it up "**** the Michigan State police and they didn't see my do anything so they cant do ****." Exact words. So my dad comes back, gets in the car and calls the State police back and tells them what he just said to the same operator. We followed him for 2 exits, I don't know if he got pulled over but I think they might of sent a cop out for him after the 2nd call
We will have to see what the bus company says about this.

My Dad and I went on a bus trip to see a Twins game in the cities. The driver was 70-something, and had been driving busses for years. We were flying past cars, semi'*, everything. Must have been doing 80 something. The trip took about 30 or so less than it should have.
Crazy bus drivers.

Yeah I really would of minded if he was going fast and there weren't a lot of cars but this guy was waiving in and out of traffic since it was kind of busy, And switching lanes so often with that huge bus it surprised me he didn't hit someone at all.

Unfortunately, what the bus driver said was accurate. Unless the trooper witnessed him driving erratically, there is nothing that he can do. Let'* hope that a trooper did manage to pull him over for something.

I called the police on a guy that made a very dangerous manuver to get around me on the highway. I didn't think they would do anything but they caught up to him, pulled him over, and were going to give him a ticket if I was willing to show up in court because he said he would fight it.
And yeah, there are some fast driving tour busses out there. I have had a couple blow by me at probably 85 before. Wasn't in MI though.

That was likely many years ago, before Michigan decriminalized traffic offenses. Once they became civil infractions, the ability for a citizen to file the complaint and be a witness to it in court went away. A civil infraction must be witnessed by the officer. This is Michigan law....others may vary.
