1500 includes the labor cost associated with just the Tyvek. Then 900 to take down the siding and put it back up. I guess code here does not require it, nor does the siding company for warrenty or installation purposes. Recommended? Well heck yes, obviously.

I've watched prefab, I did not realize this house was prefab. I thought the home was field assembled stick frame construction (wood of course).
You see a lot of prefab on TV programs like Extreme Home Makeover where there is no basement (slab on grade instead which I do not like) and the wall assemblies are pre-assembled (w/sheathing, studs and insulation) and delivered to the field.
This is my understanding of prefab.
John, when is the expected move-in date?

Now, what'* wrong with this pic?
That'* right, there should not be wood in there. It should be in the dining room... but that'* the living room. So, we'll probably end up with some free wood outta that. They finally finished the siding, layed some vinyl, and did some tiling. Put up the garage door, and have the interior trim painted and curing in the garage.
And a couple of the view from the driveway.
