Let'* play: Good Idea, Bad Idea
Good Idea - Helping the missus with some yard work - Removing stumps, tilling the garden, trimming trees, etc.
Bad Idea - While building aformentioned retaining wall, hitting yourself in the thigh with a spinning Skil Saw blade.

It ain't too bad. One prettygood hole, a couple or three fairly small ones. I probably shoulda got a few stitches, but I hate going to the doctors. Thank God the blade was spinning down instead of me having my dumass finger on the trigger or it coulda been much worse.
Sawdust is pretty easy to sweep up and dispose of. Meat dust on the other hand tends to get sticky and hard to work with...
It was kinda funny, tho, watching The Missus and the neighbor lady that happened to be walking by (of course, I had to have witneeses) freak out about it.
Shredded up a good pair of jeans, too, dammit.....

Nope just the ego, mostly. The new scar will feel right at home with the couple I have from hitting my leg with a diamond blade saw (from my tilesetter days).
I should really consider not using hand tools anymore and get myself a tablesaw.....
And, the damage wouyld have been a lot worse had I declined to help The Missus with those projects, so I guess it all came out for the best..

What- the thorns didn't get you enough attention??? Now you are resorting to cutting body parts??? PSST!- DON'T DO THAT, IT HURTS!!
I'm glad you are okay but I'm starting to doubt your mechanical capabilities.

when I had the trimmers in the other hand and swipped my leg/knee area.
