The most convincing evidence that Red goes faster than other colours is when light is refracted through a medium such as glass (prism). Red light is bent less than the light from other colours and this means, as any physicist will tell you, that the refractive index of Red light is lower than that of other colours. Why? Because it hits the glass at a higher speed.

I think maybe he lived. I think the pic was taken after the side of the car was cut away in 2 pieces. Do you notice the drivers seat is intact, and the airbag deployed below the crush zone. Vettes sit pretty low, and the top of the airbag showing shifts me to think his head missed the shear. Unless he had it sideways and never knew of the impending impact. But the forward motion of the impact should have put his head into the center of the airbag regardless.
