I’ve heard of the van doghouse but not “dog leg” or “dog ****” (have to remember that one
)
A friend told me that when his parents first married, his mother said to his father
“YOU paid WHAT!!?? …. for a DOG HOUSE!!!”
She was from Michigan.

I know a dog house as where my dog sleeps and the hump that covers the engine in a van. I never have heard of it as a front clip...interesting...
