Default Is Kentucky the only place that has doghouses?

Just saw this post in wanted section. http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...be81bcd17aba24

I lived in central Kentucky for 5 years so I knew exactly what she was looking for without a second thought.
When I was in Kentucky it was commonly called a “Doghouse.” Up here in Southern Ohio though I have heard both “Doghouse” and “Front Clip.”

So is she right that this is only a Kentucky thing or do any of you have "doghouses" in your part of the country too?

Same conversation on another car forum. Concensus was that it was primarily southern, and some in the northeast. Never heard of it in Texas. "Front clip" is used around here.

Yeah, we have front clips. My dog sleeps in the doghouse.

The doghouse thing is new to me; I've also live in Northern Ohio all my life too.
