Ok, i know this is going to show how new i am here... but what do those stars under the users name mean?

Kinda like rank. The more stars, the better you are....

It'* actually, for the most part, a "post counter". Gold stars are "Staff"....

ok, thats cool...
when i go to my Jeep forum they have a "point" thing thats similar i guess... except you could "spend" those points on differen't things in the forum, like making your user name glow, or bold...
