Except not quite a Mercury!!! Oh ya, the Bonnevilles have style. Something Fords deeply lacks.

I think it'* an admirable quality when one can look past a mere name and actually look at the vehicle to make a judgement call...

I've had to many bad experiences with Ford that I am officially done with them. Will never own another one.

And that'* the root of the differences. My family for 2 generations have owned mainly Fords, and they were the longest lasting most dependable vehicles we've had. Each and every Chevy we've owned has crapped out on us.

But I don't allow that affect my judgement on vehicles. There are bad Chevies and good Chevies. There are bad Fords and good Fords.

The other day I was talking to someone about the twin-turbo Supra. But guess what. It'* a *gasp*...a Toyota!!

The Mercury Marauder has proven by stats and consumers to be a good vehicle, after the test of time.

Three trannies in less than a year on a Bonneville. That must be the norm for Bonnies, then, right? Pontiac sucks because of that, right?

Of course it'* going to prove to be a good vehicle because it was just introduced!! Much like the Dorman intakes....none have been on the road long enough to prove their longevity!!
