I think that some certain thinking here is akin to that of people standing in line at the grocery stores glancing through a rag smagazine looking for all the gossip and bent realities of the media. Whatever you think of Jr., or the way he races, or his personality. This about a "Son" doing something to honer his "Father". With the general concensus of all parties involved. Jr isn't doing this for himself, nor acting like/plugging it as if so. However you feel about his personality or style, it shouldn't spill over into this. Let the family have their day to honor the man they love, lost, and cherish.

I agree, he'* honoring his father. Nothing more, nothing less.
Also, if you remember anything about the Nationwide series at all, JR raced the #3 car when was in that series starting out.
